1957 Press Photo Snark Intercontinental Guided Missile on Display in Washington

An Air Force Snark intercontinental missile is prepared on its mobile launcher on East Capitol St. near the Capitol for tomorrow's inaugural parade. Designed for operational duty with the Strategic Air Command, the Snark will be part of the artillery salute to President Eisenhower in parade that will follow his public inauguration. A Snark intercontinental guided missile on a mobile launching platform being readied for display in Washington earlier this year. Missiles of this type may soon by stationed in Spain, air force sources said last week.
