Washington: AFL-CIO Pres. George Meany (left) as he arrived for a conference with Adlai Stevenson (right) at the latter's headquarters here 9/21. Afterwards Meany said that "I'll do what I can" to help the Democratic Presidential candidate. Meany declined to give reporters details of the conference.
