Her broken left arm still in a cast, 21-year-old French novelist Francoise Sagan speaks into microphone held by unseen newsman as she is carried on stretcher on leaving hospital for her home today in Paris. At right is her brother Jacques Quoires (Miss Sagan's actual surname). Her blackened left eye is also a result of an auto accident near Paris two weeks ago. She was injured when a sports car she was driving at high speed left the road and overturned.

Photo is dated 1957.
