At a cocktail party at their home Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. John A. S. Lane, 7875 N. Club circle, Fox Point, announced the engagement of their daughter Miss Elizabeth Wanda Lane, and Roger Dale Peirce. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl L. Peirce, 6949 N. Burnett Ls., Fox Point. The bride-elect was graduated from Milwaukee Downer seminary and Vassar college. A member of the Service club, she made her debut at the 1960 charity ball. Peirce, who was graduated from Milwaukee Country Day school, received his bachelor's degree from Harvard university and his Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of Hasty Pudding club and Sigma Alpha Epsilon. The couple plans to be married Sept. 11 at North Shore Congregational church.
