Description
Streams of water were aimed at the sky from the nozzles of a fireboat that was tested in the Milwaukee river Thursday. The boat, designed in Chicago for fire fighting and rescue work, is jet propelled and has a metal hull. It can go beneath every bridge in the Milwaukee river and has a capacity for four 1,000 gallons pumping engines, City officials watched the demonstration.
