Description
In Wisconsin a century old structure is being razed at Milton to make room for a filling station. The home was constructed of grout, a mixture of water, sand and limestone. It was one of the first grout houses built in this country. Grout houses were cheaper than concrete ones, but looked similar.

Photo is dated 1956.
