1965 Press Photo General Electric Company's new remodeled Milwaukee service shop

General Electric Co. has moved its Milwaukee service shop to this remodeled building at 235 W. Oklahoma av. The shop, with about 50 employees, repairs and maintains industrial electrical equipment. There are 21,000 square feet of office and work area. The shop had been at 940 W. St. Paul av. Last month sales and other office personnel were moved from the outdated St. Paul av. building that is being hemmed in by the Central interchange of the expressway system. An open house and dedication ceremonies will be held at the new quarters on Wednesday.
