Son Receives Father's Viet Medals: Four-year-old Robert J. Farley, Jr., receives four medals awarded posthumously to his father from Major General Felix A. Davis, left, commander of the 75th Maneuver Area Command. A Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart were presented in ceremonies Saturday at the Army Reserve Center, 1850 Old Spanish Trail. Army Spec. 4 Robert J. Farley, Sr., was killed November 17, 1967, in Vietnam leading an assault on an enemy position. Robert, of 6746 Thornwall, is accompanied by his grandmother, Mrs. Avery N. Farley, and is assisted by Lt. J.W. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Meldon W. Bass, 10334 N. Oswego, received a Bronze Star awarded posthumously to their son, Pfc. Joe H. Bass, who was killed in Vietnam in October.
