Pots and kettles in left foreground are standing on a small sheet-iron stove that has the central position in the "ger." Pictures of Stalin and other Russian leaders hand over the large clock on the decorated chests in the background. The father wears his medals on his del, the robe that both men and women wear in Outer Mongolia. A rug cushions the wooden floor of the round tent and helps to keep it warm.
