Description
The town of Daisetta, Texas is currently plagued with a leaky natural gas system that the Texas Railroad Commission wants closed down. However, the town's mayor, three council members and resident volunteers are replacing a 1000-foot section of pipe which supplied gas to a church and 12 houses, including the one pictured above. Charming, the horse at left, pulls a wooden cart through town for the community's self-appointed garbage collector, Roosevelt Taylor, 44.
