San Diego, California- New gunship is revealed by the U.S. Army and Navy for more firepower in shallow waterways of Vietnam. It is called Monitor, after the famed ironclad of the Civil War. Officials disclosed Wednesday that a fleet of the heavily armored vessels is being readied. The vessels are built from the 60-foot hulls of Navy landing craft.
