Where are the wings? NASA's HL-10 experiment craft, without wings or wheels, comes in for a landing at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) on the California desert. The craft, one of several being tested by NASA, is designed to bring astronauts back to Earth from space flights. It landed at about 200 miles an hour - three minutes after being air-launched from the wing of a B-52 bomber.
