Jack Fountain has been elected executive-secretary of the Carpenters District Council of Houston & Vicinity. The council represents eight carpenter, millwright, pile driver and millman local unions in Houston, Conroe, Baytown, Texas City and Bay City with a membership of about 5000. Fountain, 38, of 10518 Bretton succeeds the retiring Fred W. Lucas as the chief executive officer of the council.
