"Mama's sick" - Mrs. Lila Bolin, a patrolwoman in the city police juvenile division, cheers up three sons of Mrs. Roberta East. Mrs. East, 27, of 7943 Carolwood, was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital Saturday when she suddenly became ill. The physician called police to get the children. They were placed in a county home until their mother recovers. That's Randy, 2, left, and Ruben 3, center. Mrs. Bolin is holding young Joe, three weeks. The fourth son, Douglas, 1, was asleep when the photographer came around. The father, Harry East, is a merchant seaman and is at sea.
