Mrs. Scott Carpenter, 202 Sleepy Hollow, Seabrook, wife of the astronaut, has been named First Lady of Christmas Seals for Harris County. Mrs. Carpenter was presented with a Christmas Seal corsage by G. Maxfield Taylor, of River Oakes Gardens, vice-chairman of the annual drive, sponsored by the Houston-Harris County TB Assn.
