1971 Press Photo Workmen setup exhibit at National Assn of Home Builders in TX

Workmen adjusts a guy wire holding a 27-year-old Southern Pine in place at the Weyerhaeuser Co. exhibit for the National Assn. of Home Builders convention-exposition to open Sunday in Astrohall. As a part of its exhibit, Weyerhauser shipped a truckload of real trees in Houston, Texas from the company's tree farm in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The trees range from 4 feet to 35 feet in height and from 3 years to 27 years in age. Weyerhauser Co. is a West Coast lumber and building products firm. More than 500 exhibitors will fill the 500,000 square foot exhibit area at Astrohall during the five-day run of the NAHB meet. Houston, Texas. Association.
