Texas Southern University, Houston T.S.U. President Honored Dr. S.M. Nabrit, left, president of Texas Southern University, was honored Wednesday night by the institution's board of directors for the progress the university has made during his first three years at the school. Speaking in Nabrit's honor were Mack Hannah, center, chairman of the board, and Dr. H. D. Bruce, right, vice-chairman of the board and president of East Texas Baptist College.
