Mrs. Gertrude C. Novak, one of the partners of Robert Baker, as she told Senate probers today that Baker never let her know about an offer of $1.5 million by Robert F. Thompson of Dallas, Texas for the carousel Motel at Ocean City, Md. Baker later sold the motel for a little over $1 million to the Serv-U Corp., a vending machine company in which Baker was described as 87 percent owner.
