Sally Weis, 11, (right) of Spokane won first place in the Sub-Novice Group at the Kootenay Figure Skating Championships at Rossland, British Columbia, Sunday. Gloria Goodner, 16, (left) of Fairfield placed first in Senior Bronze Dances and second in the Intermediate Group. Both are members of the Spokane Figure Skating Club. The club's Jacque Bowman was second in Senior Bronze Dances and third in the Intermediate Group; Janis Wright was second in the Junior Group, and Charlene Koch placed third in Senior Bronze Dances.
