SQUAW VALLEY, California -- PRACTICE NEAR RECORD JUMP -- Torbjorn Yggeseth, right, 23-year-old Norwegian attending Wenatchee College in Washington, posed yesterday with Birger Torrissen, jumping official of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games. Yggeseth leaped 85 meters -- or 285 feet -- during a weekend practice jump on the largest of the three jumps at this Olympic games site. That's 3 1/2 meters short of the Olympic record. Yggeseth will represent Norway in the game starting February 18.
