Description
World War II - Alaska. Two U.S. battleships with a heavy cruiser between them deploy off the northeastern tip of Kiska after bombarding Japanese installations near North Head, which turned out to be unnecessary, for the Japanese had fled. But the big ships were ready to pour shells into the island or protect the transports from hostile naval forces.
