Robert D Haynes, handsome 32-year old auto dealer, and his wife, the former Mrs Hallie Holmes, aged some 45 years, are pictured on their arrival at Mrs Hayne's palatial Beverly Hills home after their Reno, Nevada marriage October 3, less than ten minutes after she had obtained a divorce from George Holmes, discoverer of the rich Silver Queen gold mine in the Mojavo Desert, on desertion sharges. Mother of four children, Mrs Haynes filed suit for divorce last April, receiving a property settlement form the sale of the famous mine, which reputedly netted three million.
