With employers and employees at an impasse in the General Motors Strike, and with an ominous note beginning to intrude on the situation. As evidenced by minor strike disorders in Flint, Michigan, the National Leaders of the C.I.O. put their heads together at a meeting here on Tuesday (Jan. 12). In this picture, John Brophy, Director of the C.I.O., Homer Martin, National President of the United Automobile Workers, and John Lewis, Head of the C.I.O. were pictured as they conferred on the auto strike situation.
