It was announced Dec 16 by Kent Cooper, general manager of the Associate Press, that Alan Gould at right executive assistant, would take over temporarily the supervision of AP News and Newsphoto Services during absence of Byron Price at left who is to become director of censorship in Washington.

Photo is dated 1941.
