NY Ted Thompson at left, 35 of Belle Chase Fla and his newly selected flying mate Nelson E Brown of NY toast their projected round the world flight in a Piper Cub. The takeoff is scheduled for Aug 15 and the plane will refuel in the air through a special pick up device. Brown, who flew with the RAF during the war weighs but 125 pounds and his light weight is expected to be of great advantage in fuel saving.
