Billy Conn the Pittsburgh Adonis who is a leading contender for the heavyweight boxing title is shown as he was sworn into the US Army as a Private by Colonel John F Daye in New York today. Conn was assigned to Fort Wadsworth and ordered to report on March 16. He will seek a furlough in June for a bout against Heavyweight Champion Private Joe Louis.
