James Roosevelt, eldest son of and Secretary of the Pres, is shown as he spoke during his surprise broadcast to refute charges made in a recent magazine article that he had used the power of his father's position to amass a huge fortune in the insurance business. High spot of the informal chat wast he statement - "And anybody who says or suggests that he (the President) would have aided me in any questionable way, had I asked him to, is, of course a liar - a rather cowardly liar whom I'l like personally, but briefly to meet."
