Edward W.Detrick of Detroit who read in a newspaper that party blind Roger Laverty 2 may see again if the defective Corner of his eye is replaced through a delicate operation Detrick, made the offer, Mrs.Laverty mother of Roger has already proposed to donate the healthy cornea of one of her eyes. Detrick is pictured sealing his proposal in an envelope and addressed it to Roger Laverty care of Gov Earle of Tenn.
