Description
The court here lent a lenient ear to the plea of attractive Barbara O'Brien that her husband, Sam Wall, a theatrical manager, be permitted to leave the state and go to Hollywood with her to protect her from scandal and from "all the unscrupulous masculine members of the movie set, whose design of of living differs drastically from mine". Wall is accused of larceny of $250 from an Alabama school-teacher who contends she gave him that amount to make a recording of a song she wrote, but that he didn't do it. Wall's trial is set for October 14.
