Description
U.S. Woman May Be Held By Italians A woman identified by her papers as Miss Mary Dingman (above), native of Berea, Ky., head of the Women's International Disarmament and Peace Committee with Offices in Geneva, Switzerland, has been detained by Italian Police at Milan, it was announced Dec. 19. Friends, however, expressed belief it might be a case of mistaken identity since MIss Dingman lost her passport recently and this might have been found and used by someone else. The reports gave no reason for the detention.
