Description
Jane Darby's striking black tissue faille dinner dress. Note the resemblance in basic style between this gown and its centuries old predecessor. Miss Darby's gown has long shirred sleeves, slightly puffed below the shoulders and ending in pleated, starched organdy Ruches at the cuffs. The longer bodice look adds further to complete the effect. A smart accent is added by a lily Dache felt close to the head hat pointed and heavily jewelled.
