1945 Press Photo Joseph Morton,correspondent is believed to be a prisoner of war

Joseph Morton of St. Joseph Mo., an Associated Press War Correspondent, is reported unofficially to be a prisoner of war following his capture by the Germans last December 26. A British officer told Allied Headquarters in the Mediterranean he saw Morton and several Allied officers seized and that he learned subsequently that the 32 year old writer was in Nazi Prison Camp.
