Itsuro Hayashi the Japanese lawyer hired to defend Army Specialist 3C William S Girard in the 21 year old Ottawa IL GIs trial in a Japanese court on charges of fatally shooting a Japanese woman is shown on his arrival at Camp Whittington in Japan Friday to discuss the case with Girard. Girards case took another turn yesterday as Hayashi was dismissed on telephoned orders from Girards brother in a move to deny Japanese jurisdiction in the case - jurisdiction which had already been granted by a US State Department-Pentagon decision approved by President Eisenhower.
