Haru Sueyama 27 Japanese fiance of William S Girard from Ottawa-LaSalle IL combs her hair before making a visit to Girard at Camp Whittington 60 miles north of Tokyo. Girard 22 year old GI is accused of firing a freak shot that killed a Japanese woman and touched off a quarrel clouding American-Japanese relations. Haru quoted Girard as saying its a lie that he lured a Japanese woman to her death on the firing range.
