Representative Patrick J. Boland of Pennsylvania who has the distinction of being the only member of congress to be elected by both the Republican and Democratic parties and to receive invitations to both caucuses. He has chosen the Democratic Party and says he will vote for Garner for Speaker. Representative Boland is an avowed anti-prohibition-ist and a believer in a lower tariff.
