1940 Press Photo Walter Bradshaw held in hit and run killing of Beverly Frank

Walter H Bradshaw of 4204 Lincoln Ave pictured at the Sheffield Avenue police station where is held by police as the alleged hit and run driver that killed Beverly Joan Frank 6 years old of 1402 George Street. Police found the body of the girl covered by a tarpaulin in the garage on Oakley Avenue. Bradshaw told the crowd at the scene of the accident that he would hurry the girl to a hospital. He placed her in his car and drove away but she never reached a hospital.
