Description
Miss Patricia Edwards, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Edwards, and a member of a very old and prominent South Texas family was crowned Queen of the Court of Gay Broadway at the Corpus Christi Buccaneer Days Festivities. Miss Edwards was regal in her exquisite gown of gold cloth. The completely jewelled panels were encrusted with emeralds, rhinestones and crystal prisms. An intricately jewelled collar framed her shoulders and held an elaborate capelet from which flowed the magnificent emerald green velvet court train. The train was outlined in rows of rhinestones and the scalloped border was interlaced with brilliantly jeweled musical notes and theatrical masques.
