Micheal Pritchard, a San Francisco comedian and juvenile probation officer who uses humor to reach out to teenagers with a message of hope and optimism, is the focus of The Power Of Choice, an hour long documentary premiering on Wednesday, September 9 at 9p.m. on national public television. (In the New York metropolitan area, the program will air at 10p.m. on WNET/Thirteen.) Presented by WNET/Thirteen and underwritten by Nestle Foods, the program follows Pritchard as he visits high school students in San Francisco, Denver, New York City and Biloxi, Mississippi, to discus the issues and help solve the problems that plague young people at this crucial stage in their lives.
