Albert Brooks stars in the Paramount Pictures comedy Mother as John Henderson, a science fiction writer who decides that a return to his roots and his mother is the only way he will ever understand his troubled history with women. The Scott Rudin Production is directed by Brooks from a screenplay written by Brooks and Monica Johnson. The film is produced by Scott Rudin and Hern Nanas. Barry Berg and Adam Schroeder are the co producers. Paramount Pictures is part of the entertainment operations of Viacom Inc.
