Making sense of the sixties shows the impact and meaning of the social and political change that a generation of Americans inspired. As Vietnam veterans demonstrated against the war (top) and women rejected their traditional roles (bottom), the nation was changed forever by the most tumultuous period since the Civil War. The six-part series premiers on PBS from 9 to 11 p.m. each night ET. A production of WETA, Washington, D.C. in association with Varied Directions int'l. Camden, Maine, the series is underwritten by PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which additional funding by Syms Corporation and Tom's of Maine, Inc.
