HORSEPLAY - Alan Director, chairman of the 1981 OSMI Auction, done 1941 brass diver's helmet donated by Zidell Explorations, as Michael Templeton, OMSI executive director, perches atop examining table built for the late Dr. Moses Elias Steinberg and donated by Old Time Shop. Both items, along with mailbox mounted on a Burlington Northern train switch, will be auctioned off at formal auction Saturday, Oct. 24. Big-eyed bowser, seated by Fred Meyer, will be among items auction on Sunday.
