Ethiopian helps teens - A former resident of war-torn, faminieravaged Ethiopia, Abraham Demissie understands the value of education and of having goals. Now a counselor at the Portland School District's Albina Youth Opportunity School, he drews from his experiences to try to feed the mind and souls of Portland's troubled, discouraged teens. "Kids need a positive direction where the rules are structured", he says.
