Policing is a positive profession, the Baton Rouge chief of police told the New Orleans police department's 15th academy graduating class Saturday. Highlighting ceremonies at the New Orleans police academy Saturday was the citation by Colonel Provosty A. Dayries, the police superintendent, of officers with records of meritorious service. From left are Colonel Bayries, Patrolman Leslie Barrios, Sergeant Charles J. Newman Jr., Patrolman John J. Cronin, Patrolman Gerald Hirt, Detective Joseph A.
