Professor Adrian R. Martinez's steel blue eyes were serious. "If we who teach good government cannot stand up for our rights when we see flagrant violations of the election laws, what are we to do?" The short, stocky Puerto Rican, who serves as director of activities at Peters High School, was telling a reporter what he saw take place in the polling booth of the Eighth Precinct of the Third Ward which was located in the school basement on election day.
