St, Petersburg, Florida,February 18 - Redbirds anxious to take off - The bonus baby McDaniel brothers, Von 18, left, and Lindy, 22, both right handed pitchers for the St. Louis Cardinals, gaze at baseball with their manager Fred Hutchinson (right) at Redbirds' early training camp. Lindy, not yet working out, is living nearby and paid visit today to watch his brother get in some early training with the St. Louis farmhands. Lindy had a 15-9 record for the Cards last year. Von, who attended Abilene Christian College during the off season, was 7-5 in his rookie year with St. Louis. His 1957 performance included one and two-hit shutouts.
