Description
Meet Fred Madden, Mr. Angus Buttonkooper, the "Little Man" of the spectacular production "One-Third of a Nation," to be given here opening Monday night by the Federal and Group theatres at Jerusalem temple. The play deals with the housing situation of America, and Mr. Buttonkooper represents the man in the street, or "Mr. Common People." He wanders on the stage from the audience, interrupts the play and asks questions when he doesn't understand what's going on. The work of 50 trained investigators, studying their subject for a period of months, has gone into the script of "One-Third of a Nation" spectacular production to be presented here beginning next Monday night at Jerusalem Temple for a four-night run by the Federal and Group theatres, it was announced today by sponsors.
