Description
The Ministry of Marine, one of the Government buildings in the Spanish capital, which was damaged in the opening rebel attack, was reported November 11 to have again felt the force of insurgent shells when the Franco forces laid down one of the heaviest bombardments since the world war in the IR attack on the city. Meanwhile, the loyalist defenders sought to control a damaging blaze which spread through forty blocks of the city following the rebel plane bombardment of November 10.
