Veteran CBS Newsman Hottelet begins his workday at 5:15 a.m. when he starts gathering news for his daily (Monday through Friday) presentation of "The CBS Morning News." A member of CBS News since 1944, Dick's last assignment was in the network's news bureau at Bonn before he took over the morning news show. He and his staff present three complete shows within two hours. The first broadcast is seen at 7:45 a.m., EDT.
