Seated at left is the Princess de Rethy, holding Prince Alexander, only child of Leopold's 1941 marriage to the former Mary Liliane Baels. Standing (left to right) are Prince Josephine Charlotte, 22; Crown Prince Baudouin, 19, heir to the throne, and Prince Albert. Leopold may soon return to throne.
