1948 Press Photo Workmen Remove Temporary Roof from Exeter Cathedral, England

Description
When the roof caved in during a bombing raid, workmen replaced it with a temporary wood frame which they are shown removing. This portion of the cathedral is known as the "quire" and shelters the side aisle.

Photo is dated 1948.
